Students from Magnolia School District’s Salk Elementary and Baden Powell Elementary performed Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the 41st Annual Very Special Arts Festival at the Main Place Mall in Santa Ana.  Mall goers were treated to lively dance performances that celebrated the artistic accomplishments of individuals with disabilities. Artwork by students at Baden Powell and Salk were displayed throughout the Mall.  Artwork by Daisy Le, Salk first grader, was selected for special recognition.  Her artwork has been chosen to travel throughout Orange County for the next year as part of OCDE’s Very Special Arts traveling showcase.  We are proud of all of our artists who danced and/or created artwork for this year’s festival.
