Superintendent

Dr. Frank Donavan

The Magnolia School District is committed to educating the “whole child” with a focus on rigorous academics as well as the arts, music, and technology for all of our students. We view our parents as partners in education and we offer many opportunities for them to be involved in the education of their children. We are committed to providing a quality education to all students and ensuring that our staff members have the training and resources they need to be successful.

Superintendent's Message

We are excited to begin the 2023-24 school year. We have been busy over the summer preparing our schools and classrooms to be welcoming and warm environments for our students.

This year we will continue our tradition of high expectations, rigorous academics, access to Music and the Arts, and a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). We will also continue to provide additional Physical Education and Art programs during the school day for all of our students.

We are pleased to be able to continue to offer free afterschool programs at all of our schools with a focus on academic support, homework help, sports and recreation, and many other areas.

All of our schools prepare fresh meals every day and are available at no charge to all of our students.

We want to ensure you that we continue to implement and monitor safety measures at all of our schools. All schools have security fencing, cameras, and visitors must enter through the front office. We continue to work closely with the Anaheim Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to keep our schools safe.

Students learn best when they are consistently in school. Regular school attendance will help our students be successful now and in the future.

We look forward to a successful and productive school year and we are proud to be entering our 129th year in educating students in the Magnolia School District.

Sincerely,
Frank Donavan, Ed.D.
