Special Education

The Magnolia School District is committed to providing a free, appropriate public education for all students in the least restrictive environment. All special education services are determined at the individual student level through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process. The IEP process is student-centered and focuses on a student's strength, unique needs, goals, and necessary services plus supports that are reasonably calculated to provide the student an educational benefit in the least restrictive environment (LRE). A continuum of program options is available across the district, such as specialized academic instruction, speech therapy, health services, occupation/physical therapy and psychological services.
