Magnolia School District's Free Summer Program: Enriching Learning and Fun for Students

The Magnolia School District (MSD) Summer Expanded Learning Program is free to all current MSD students beginning the first day of summer break and is divided into three sessions to provide families with flexibility and schedule options.  The program runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is offered at various schools throughout the District.  Students participate in a variety of activities that include hands-on studio art activities, Lego-inspired engineering classes, and immersive gameplay that develops students’ ability to think critically while working as a team to problem solve.  Assemblies are a popular hit with students!  This week our students will participate in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) assembly and a magic show!  Session three is currently serving approximately 350 students and MSD families can begin enrolling in the fall Summer Expanded Learning Program through our District website.
