English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)

Students in kindergarten through grade twelve, whose home language is not English, are required to participate in the ELPAC to assess their English proficiency. The ELPAC allows schools to identify students who need to improve their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English. Magnolia administers this assessment each year between February and March, and parents usually receive the results in the summer.
