Maintenance and Operations

The District’s Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Facilities Department services 11 district-wide facilities. There are approximately 54 employees that strive to provide the best customer service required to maintain MSD facilities. These services include daily custodial cleaning; routine grounds maintenance; preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs of major building systems. MOTF’s goal is to provide a safe learning and working environment for students and staff; maximizing the opportunity for building efficiency, and protecting the District’s investments. With encompassing the four categories of maintenance: Emergency Maintenance, Routine Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Predictive Maintenance, MOTF challenges themselves to ensure that the proper maintenance for their facilities is proactive, fiscally responsible, team driven, valued engineered and effectively using methods to reducing the life-cycle cost of our facilities.
