To mark this achievement, the school hosted a special recognition assembly following its spirited B.A.R.K. celebration. NCUST Executive Coach Luz Vicario personally visited the campus to present the award. The energy was electric as the entire student body, families, and staff joined with district and community leaders to mark this proud moment.
Special guests included Superintendent Dr. Donavan, members of the Magnolia School District Board of Education, and Anaheim District 1 representative Ryan Balius, among other dignitaries. Their presence underscored the importance of this recognition—not just for Dr. Peter Marshall Elementary, but for the entire community.
This award celebrates the hard work of dedicated teachers, staff, students, and families. The NCUST America’s Best Schools Award is granted only to schools that demonstrate exceptional academic achievement for all student groups, inclusive practices that ensure equity, innovative instruction, and a strong, positive school culture. It is a recognition that highlights both high expectations and deep support for every child. For the Magnolia School District, this honor affirms what is already known: when there is belief in the power of each child, excellence thrives.
