A highlight of the evening was seeing the MSD Choir and Lancer Choir captivate the audience with a performance of The Wellerman, a traditional New Zealand folk song. This memorable experience provided our elementary students with an exciting opportunity to perform alongside older students, build their confidence, and experience the joy of being part of a larger musical ensemble. It was also a wonderful example of how music brings students together and creates meaningful connections across schools.
We are incredibly proud of our talented MSD Choir students and grateful to Dale Junior High School for welcoming them to share the stage. A special thank you to our MSD Choir music teacher, Laura Freire, and teacher Flor Velez for their dedication, encouragement, and commitment to providing our students with meaningful musical experiences. Their passion for music and support of our students helped make this memorable performance possible.
