Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
Magnolia School District is proud to once again participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) for the 24-25 school year. This allows our Food Service Department to offer additional fruits and vegetables to all students in participating schools. Students will get to try a fresh fruit or vegetable snack several days per week, at no cost. A variety of fruits and vegetables will be distributed during non-meal service times, separate from their breakfast and lunch meals. Students will also learn more about good nutrition habits through activities and lessons.
Schools that have been awarded the FFVP grant for the 24-25 school year:
- Walt Disney School
- Mattie Lou Maxwell School
- Juliette Low School of the Arts
- Robert M. Pyles STEM Academy
