Students Make Lasting Connections with their Community
Lord Baden-Powell Elementary School students continue to inspire kindness around their community. This year student council members, with the leadership of Mrs. Katrina Barkley and Mrs. Stacy Bugaren, made lasting connections with some of the residents of Brookdale Senior Living in Anaheim. Mrs. Barkley worked as our liaison to Brookdale, arranging visits and coordinating students and staff. Mrs. Bugaren managed the Student Council students to support visits to BP and arranged special projects that were delivered to Brookdale. Their collaborative work is the backbone of this partnership.
