During the September 20th, Board of Trustees meeting the District received a very special recognition from California Congressman Lou Correa. According to Mr. Correa “ You would be hard pressed to find an elementary school district anywhere in our wonderful country that is preparing children from the ages of four through twelve for college and careers, especially those in the computer science industry, Magnolia School District is truly building the foundation for students’ success in the Digital Age, while also exposing them to music, arts and rigorous academics.” We sincerely thank Congressman Correa for this recognition.

Magnolia School District continues a strong partnership with the Anaheim YMCA and the Anaheim Achieves after-school program. As part of this partnership, the District has been offering a no-cost supper program to the students for the last 4 years. Hot, nutritious meals are prepared in each of the school’s kitchens and serve an average of 600 nightly meals to the Anaheim Achieves participants. The student favorites are Beef and Cheese Lasagna and Cheese Pizza.

Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Club of Anaheim, Magnolia students received over 360 new backpacks full of school supplies.
